Pharmacist in Charge

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee daily pharmacy operations at a retail pharmacy location.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and clinical appropriateness
• Dispense medications and provide counseling and education to patients
• Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation
• Oversee pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, labeling, and expiration monitoring
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
• Supervise and support Pharmacy Technicians in daily workflow activities

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 3–5 years of retail pharmacy management experience
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
