An established healthcare organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive patient care in an occupational and primary care clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and annual wellness examinations.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform health screenings and preventive care programs.
- Evaluate and treat workplace injuries and common illnesses.
- Consult with medical leadership regarding patient cases and care plans.
- Oversee employee health testing programs, including respirator fit and hearing conservation testing.
- Provide patient education, wellness coaching, and health advocacy services.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing as appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
- Coordinate care and make referrals to specialists or other healthcare professionals when indicated.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Support clinic operations and assist with additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or a related outpatient setting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
- Commitment to ethical practice and evidence-based care.
