A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee inpatient Medical-Surgical and Telemetry services.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for assigned inpatient nursing departments.
- Collaborate with executive nursing leadership on strategic planning, clinical initiatives, and performance improvement efforts.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice standards.
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
- Monitor staffing, productivity, and resource utilization to support departmental goals.
- Foster employee engagement, professional development, and clinical competency among nursing staff.
- Promote compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Serve as a mentor and professional role model for nursing personnel.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associate degree in Nursing plus a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting, such as Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or a comparable leadership role.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of hospital operations and patient care management.
