The Financial Administrator will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, conducting audits, and providing support for budgeting and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage accurate financial records and accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.
  • Conduct regular financial audits and reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local financial regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an asset.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
