Job description

An established healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee operations within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations of a skilled nursing and long-term care facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care services.
  • Foster a culture focused on quality care, resident satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives and operational improvement efforts.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and organizational programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
  • Manage contracts, regulatory requirements, and operational initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges while promoting cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support staff development, training, and leadership growth.
  • Monitor financial, operational, and clinical performance metrics.
  • Serve as a representative of the facility within professional and community settings.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

  • Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA/LNHA) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience with progressive leadership responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Leadership experience in one or more of the following settings: Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living Community, Residential Care Facility.
  • Demonstrated success leading post-acute care, long-term care, or senior living operations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, workforce management, budgeting, and performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership abilities.
