Job description

An established commercial insurance brokerage is seeking experienced Commercial Property & Casualty Producers to expand its new-business portfolio in the Metro Atlanta market. Multiple Producer hires may be considered based on candidate experience and demonstrated production success.

This opportunity offers significant schedule flexibility, a mostly remote work environment, and a commission structure designed to reward new-business growth. Candidates should be comfortable developing their own pipeline, advising commercial clients, and maintaining long-term business relationships.

Work Environment

  • Primarily remote position.
  • In-person meetings north of Atlanta approximately three to four times per month.
  • Full benefits package and collaborative professional environment.
  • Employment is subject to a background check; a drug test is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and close new Commercial Property & Casualty business.
  • Build a consistent pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
  • Assess prospective clients' operations, exposures, and insurance requirements.
  • Recommend appropriate commercial insurance coverage and risk-management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
  • Coordinate with account-management professionals and insurance carrier partners throughout the sales and servicing process.
  • Manage opportunities through the sales cycle and maintain accurate pipeline activity.
  • Support client retention and renewal efforts through ongoing relationship management.
  • Work across a variety of commercial industries and account types.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success producing Commercial Property & Casualty insurance business.
  • Active Georgia Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Proven ability to prospect, network, develop relationships, and close new business.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk exposures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a primarily remote environment.
  • Availability to attend in-person meetings north of Atlanta approximately three to four times per month.
  • Familiarity with commonly used insurance agency management systems and insurance carrier software.

There is no fixed minimum production threshold; candidates will be evaluated based on their overall experience and demonstrated record of success in Commercial P&C production.

  • Established professional network or history of developing commercial insurance prospects.
  • Experience working with clients across multiple industries.
  • Strong track record of retaining and expanding commercial client relationships.
  • Experience collaborating with account-management and carrier teams.

Compensation and Details
