Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for neuro and orthopedic patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor and respond to changes in neurological and physical status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
- Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate treatment plans
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a neuro/orthopedic acute care setting
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire
