Registered Nurse - Neuro Orthopedics

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for neuro and orthopedic patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor and respond to changes in neurological and physical status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
• Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate treatment plans

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a neuro/orthopedic acute care setting
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire
