Manager - Med/Surg/Telemetry

A healthcare organization in Southern California is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead a combined Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure optimal performance and patient outcomes
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
• Monitor patient care delivery and implement improvements where needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
• Analyze data, identify trends, and support performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a relevant clinical specialty
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Basic EKG/telemetry interpretation experience (or willingness to complete training within 6 months)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
