Hand Occupational Therapist

Job description

An outpatient therapy clinic is seeking a skilled Hand Occupational Therapist to provide specialized care to patients with upper extremity conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with hand and upper extremity conditions
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, and functional abilities
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
  • Adapt treatment approaches based on patient response and evolving needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Oregon Occupational Therapist License (required at time of hire)
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of hire)
  • Experience or training in hand therapy or upper extremity rehabilitation
