An outpatient therapy clinic is seeking a skilled Hand Occupational Therapist to provide specialized care to patients with upper extremity conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with hand and upper extremity conditions
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, and functional abilities
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
- Adapt treatment approaches based on patient response and evolving needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapist License (required at time of hire)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of hire)
- Experience or training in hand therapy or upper extremity rehabilitation
