We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Perform oral assessments, cleanings, and periodontal therapy to maintain oral health.
  • Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Clinical Procedures: Administer local anesthesia, take dental radiographs (X-rays), and apply fluoride treatments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including charting and treatment planning.
  • Infection Control: Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
  • Licensing: Registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a dental practice is an asset, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
